Senators: Do Your Duty
An argument you have likely not heard, before. Please pay attention.
Our government – you – are instituted “… to secure [our] [unalienable] rights…” The right to be uncharitable or charitable is unalienable. Charity, or lack of it, emanates from one’s personal belief and action and is, in fact, inseparable from the individual. If the government – you – force a citizen to be charitable it directly contravenes the government’s – your – reason for being and it is a gross violation of the citizenry’s authorization to you under the Constitution.
When one receives healthcare for which one does not pay full free market price, or if it is provided free of charge, such healthcare is obtained only through charity.
No more government healthcare or health insurance plans! Get the government out of all healthcare and health insurance.
GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE AND HEALTH INSURANCE ARE UNAUTHORIZED ABROGATIONS OF GOVERNMENT’S DUTY TO PROTECT OUR UNALIENABLE RIGHTS.
BESIDES THAT IT IS, AND WILL BE, A DISASTER.
Do Your Duty!
Your website statement “It is the duty of the next President and the next Congress to reform America’s health care system. In 2009, Congress must take up and act on meaningful health reform legislation that achieves universal coverage while also addressing the underlying problems in our health system. The urgency of this task has become undeniable” is demonstrably a fallacy and you should immediately remove it.
